I met this wonderful interviewee, last week. He was a corrections officer for many years at the prison we're researching. He also plays Latin drums (Serpico is in his drum circle!), and his wife decided to take up the bagpipes a few years ago. Certain interviewees I meet have a real mastery over their own lives, which always inspires me.
