a lot of bad stuff happened to a lot of people this week. i feel a little chilled by all the news. i just don't have the energy to hook up my camera today. but hi! send good news!
Yesterday evening, I opted to walk home in a blizzard rather than take the dreary bus. It was glorious: sparkly, chaotic, calming. As I shuffled along the bike path, I happened upon several bunnies hopping about in the snow. Despite their cautious responses to me, I like to think they shared my enthusiasm for the weather. Seriously, they were there. I couldn't believe it. Each was a lone bunny-- no bunny gathering. I told them they should be sleeping-- I forgot that they don't care to hibernate. I thought that it would be nice to invite you over with them for tea or cake or something. The bunnies were real (the rest just in my head, of course) but all is true, I promise.
oh hi! you just added me on flickr...and we read a lot of the same blogs...do you work in publishing? this wa s such a rotten week for a lot of people dear to me.

i don't work in publishing, but if i did, i'd be losing my job this week. sucks!
